Sampson Cast-Iron Grate
This heavy-duty cast-iron grate is guaranteed by the factory not to burn out for three years.
Two sizes are available...the large size is shown. Each grate comes in three sections and takes only minutes to assemble. Optional 7" sections can be added to increase the witdth.
This grate works very well with Pennsylvania Firebacks and Saf-T-Boots.

One-Piece Cast-Iron Grate
This grate is cast in a single-piece basket design. It will provide two to three years of good, solid use.
Al three sizes have a leg height of 2 1/8".
All have a depth of 12".

Welded Steel Grates
The Welded Steel Grates are made of the heaviest square steel bars-5/8" and 3/4", depending on grate size. Their leg height is 3 1/2".

Vestal Small Safety Grate
This cast-iron, one-piece design grate from Vestal is called the lazy man's grate. That's becasue its self-feeding, deeply contoured design continually lowers the burning logs to the grate bottom ember bed.
The contoured basket also assures that logs will not tumble out onto the hearth as they shift and burn. This eliminates a possible fire hazard, thus the name Safety Grate.
This grate measures 23 3/4" front x 18" back x 15" deep
